The first-ever Virginia Screen-Free Week, held April 13–19, 2025, was a statewide call to pause digital distractions and reconnect with family, friends, and the world beyond the screen. Schools, libraries, faith groups, and families across the Commonwealth joined together to host screen-free dinners, play days, and community events that encouraged healthier habits and deeper connection.
While the official week has passed, the resources below remain available year-round for schools, neighborhoods, organizations, and families who want to plan their own screen-free activities. It’s never too late to unplug, step away from the noise, and reclaim time for what matters most.
